The Bedford High School boys’ basketball team, winner of its first two games in this unique season, faces the Weston Wildcats in a Dual County League two-game series Tuesday and Friday.

A Win in Waltham

Last Friday Coach Ryan Kilian’s Buccaneers withstood a ferocious effort at Waltham Hugh and defeated the Hawks 68-61.

The junior co-captains set the pace for Bedford. Bryan Aweh-Kisob led the Bucs in scoring with 19 points, while Max Alper continued his strong start to the 2021 campaign scoring 14 points to go with seven steals and five rebounds.

The Bucs received big contributions off the bench from junior Jacori McNeil (10 points) and senior Imani Jones (five points and five rebounds in 10 minutes of play). Junior Matt Forman also hit two big shots down the stretch to help the Bucs seal the victory.
