At their Feb. 8 meeting, the members of the Municipal Affordable Housing Trust (MAHT) called attention to a homeownership opportunity available now.
The deadline to apply for the condo at 4 Carter Way is Feb. 16 with a lottery to be held on February 26.

The property is part of the 8-home condominium community developed by Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell.
The purchase price to an eligible buyer is $219,698. Owners are required also to pay a $75 monthly condominium fee and property taxes estimated at $248/month. The maximum gross household income will be verified and compared to the HUD 2020 60% area median income (AMI) limits, which are as follows:

- 2 person- $57,120
- 3 person- $64,260
- 4 person- $71,400
- 5 person – $77,112
- 6 person – $82,824
The asset limit for this development is $75,000 First Time Homeowner (with some exceptions), Mortgage Pre-Approval.
