DPW Activity: Saturday Events at Carlisle Road and Regular Trash and Recycling Pick-up on Tuesday

“There will be a lot going at 108 Carlisle Road on Saturday,” said Ed McGrath, Bedford’s Recycling Coordinator. “In addition to the paper shredding and rain barrel distribution, the Compost/Recycling Center will be open for residents to drop off yard waste and recycle glass and cardboard.”

McGrath added that residents bringing documents to be shredded or picking up a rain barrel should wear a mask and stay in their vehicles.

“The DPW staff will remove the paper from vehicles and place rain barrels in the vehicles,” McGrath said. “We want to keep the traffic flowing and avoid backups on Carlisle Road.”
