Bedford’s spring curbside yard waste collection begins Tuesday, April 20, and runs through Friday, April 23.
Residents should place the yard waste out at the curb in tall paper bags or open barrels with no lids by 7 a.m. Tuesday.
Acceptable yard waste for curbside collection consists of leaves, pine needles, grass clippings, garden trimmings, and tree material up to one inch (1”) in diameter.
Republic Services will bring the yard waste to the town’s Compost Center.
Any yard waste in plastic bags will be left behind. Republic’s employees will not remove bags that are lined up along a driveway.
Residents should call Republic’s Customer Service Center (1-800-442- 9006) if they think their house was missed.
