Alden P. French passed away on May 18, 2021. A long-time Bedford resident, Mr. French retired as a Lieutenant in the Bedford Police Department where “a ‘French’ has served on the force for 53 years.” He also served the towns of Wellesley and Lexington as their Tree Warden and was the proprietor of Alden’s Tree and Landscape Service where members of his family regularly learned new skills.
Visiting hours will be held in Shawsheen Funeral Home, 281 The Great Road, from 3 to 8 pm on Friday, May 21, 2021, with a funeral service on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at 10 am in First Church of Christ Congregational, 25 The Great Road, with burial to follow in Shawsheen Cemetery,
