Bedford Children’s Center ~ Art Show, 2021

A Pre-K student at the Bedford Children’s Center during the school’s 2021 Art Show

The Bedford Children’s Center held its 10th annual Art Show on May 19. The Art Show is a culmination of a winter semester of studying a dedicated theme across the school; the 2021 theme was the Seven Wonders of the World. Families gathered outdoors for a tour of artwork by each classroom group.

An added bonus was finally being together as a community!

Infants: Rio De Janeiro is defined by its rich history and beautiful landscape. Rio is associated with bright colors, unexpected and exciting events, and music. It only makes sense that the infants immersed themselves in the history of Rio and brought it to life with their artwork!

Tiny Tots: Hola from Peru! The many mysteries that lay within Peru connected with the Tiny Tot room as each day is a mystery as they continue to learn and grow. Our Tiny Tots immersed themselves in their artwork and the rich history that is Peru!

Tiny Tots Too!: Ciao from Italy! The Tiny Tots Too! class brought to life the foods, feels and raw emotion that is Italy! This group dove into the sounds, smells and works through natural material to transport us into the art of Italy!

Sprouts: The Mystery of The Great Wall of China is only matched by the mystery of this creative group. This artistic collective wielded Rice Krispy treats, paints, cardboard and various other mediums. As one would expect the Sprouts brought endless energy to their creations.

Preschool: Greetings from beautiful India! The preschool room embraced the wonderful culture of India while learning about and bringing to life the artwork of India. The Taj Mahal, lanterns, and other artworks from India filled their hearts and hands!

PreK: Greece was brought to life by the school’s PreK students. The Olympics! A trojan horse! Togas! Nothing could hold back our eclectic team of artists from creating all things Greece that they researched. Many of this group will be moving onto Kindergarten next year and what a gift their schools will be getting into their art programs!
