The long-time editor of the Bedford Historical Society’s newsletter has retired, and the society seeks a new editor for The Preservationist.
Currently mailed to members and friends of the Society in September, November, February, and May, The Preservationist is a 4- to 6-page newsletter, printed either in color or black and white.
The editor’s responsibilities include writing news articles, program information, and Society updates as well as selecting articles of historic interest from contributors. Formatting The Preservationist’s content for printing and coordinating with the printer are important aspects of the position.
The Board of Directors will negotiate a stipend to be paid for each newsletter.
