St. Paul’s to Host Outdoor Thrift Sale

After a hiatus in 2020 due to the pandemic, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church will hold its annual Thrift Sale on Saturday, June 19, from 9 am to 2 pm. This year, the sale will feature CLOTHING ONLY, for all ages from baby to adult, sold by the bag.

In a departure from prior years, the Thrift Sale will be held outside in the St. Paul’s back driveway and parking lot. Clothing will be sorted and placed on tables along the driveway and rear lot, to give shoppers plenty of space to browse and choose without feeling crowded. Shoppers will still be able to park in the main lot, as well as along Dana Road and Heritage Drive as needed.

In keeping with our Diocesan and parish guidelines, we ask all guests to wear masks as they shop. Our parish volunteers will be masked and will have extras available as needed.

The Thrift Sale is a wonderful example of stewardship in the broadest sense of the word: it’s a fun way for parishioners to collectively recycle what they have been given, while providing clothing at reasonable prices to those who can benefit from them. All unsold items are donated to local charities.

If you have gently used clothing to donate, the church will be accepting donations on the following days:

  • Wednesday, June 16: 9:00am to 1:00pm; 6:00pm to 8:00pm
  • Thursday, June 17: 9:00am to 1:00pm; 6:00pm to 8:00pm
  • Friday, June 18: 11:00am to 1:00pm; 4:00pm to 8:00pm

Please note that St. Paul’s cannot accept stained or ripped clothing.

The parish looks forward to welcoming our neighbors and guests back to the Thrift Sale! The rain date is Saturday, June 26.
