Bedford Live Aid Adds Another Headliner for Saturday, July 31

July 7, 2021

Another headliner has joined the program for Bedford Live Aid, an outdoor benefit event planned for Saturday, July 31, from 4-6 p.m. at 1 Clark Road. If necessary, there is an August 1 rain date.

Amanda Casale, an accomplished musical theatre and film actress, will be among the performers featured at the event, which is planned to raise money for the Bedford Community Table and Food Pantry and the Food Bank.

Steve Henning, the producer and host of the show, said there is still room for more talent. For details go to https://www.facebook.com/BedfordLiveAid/. To sign up as a performer, email [email protected]

Casale, an engineer at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, has performed in some 40 productions over the past decade. She also helps bring musical theatre to the MIT campus as a part of MIT’s Artists Beyond the Desk organization.

Also scheduled to sing at the July 31 event are some familiar faces and voices: Stacy Swider, guitarist and vocalist for her band Stacy and the Party; Ron O’Brien, guitarist for Stacy and the Party; and singer Kevin Dougherty, volunteer service specialist and events coordinator at the VA Hospital.

The lineup includes as well Tatiana Pavlova playing accordion and Cameron Henning, demonstrating jumps, wheelies, and other bicycle skills. Steve Henning plans to sing and accompany himself on guitar and harmonica.
