Ask Aunt Laura – Capturing those pesky fruit flies

The best way to prevent fruit flies to begin with is to wash your fruits and vegetables and store them in the fridge.

I tend to leave my produce on the counter and hope this will be the year they won’t find their way onto my fruit, but I’m wrong every time.

I’ve tried several methods to capture them and this recipe works the best for me.
