A cavalcade of about 100 motorcycles will traverse some of Bedford’s main streets Saturday to raise money for a charitable cause.
The Legion Riders of Bedford American Legion Post 221 will host the police-escorted cavalcade, which is scheduled to depart the Post 221, 357 The Great Road, at 11 a.m. and head through the center of town, then west on Concord Road.
After a couple of hours on other scenic roadways in Concord, Westford, Groton and Carlisle, the riders will return via Carlisle Road.
The annual charity ride’s beneficiary this year is the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center, an Essex County organization that meets the needs of adults and children in crisis due to domestic violence.
