Bedford Superintendent of Schools Philip Conrad said on Friday that he continues to “take in information” regarding Covid protocols for the 2021-2022 school year.
While other towns may have settled on their plans, Bedford continues to compile information from DESE, the Centers for Disease Control, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the Massachusetts Superintendents Association in order to make a sound decision. Local voices in the conversation include Bedford Education Association president James Sunderland, and Health Department director Heidi Porter.
The School Committee will meet at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 18, to finalize plans for the coming year.
