The BHS Girls Field Hockey Team won their games against Wayland 2-0 (away) and against Waltham 5-0 in their home opener this week.
Sophomore Maya Billings defended the goal for both shutouts. Senior Abby Morrissey scored 2 goals in each game; senior Lauren Barnes, sophomore Sydney Poor, and freshman Stella Day each scored additional goals in the Waltham game.
Next week’s games: Monday at Weston, then the team will entertain Westford at home on Wednesday. Both games begin at 4 pm.
