Making Art of Life, the work of digital fine arts printmaker Sing Hanson, is on exhibit now at the Bedford Free Public Library. (www.bedfordlibrary.net)
The retrospective includes handmade artists’ books, digital photographs, and mixed media assemblage. Join us for a reception with the artist on Saturday, September 25, from 4 – 5 pm.
A long-time resident of Bedford and a founder of Bedford Center for the Arts, Sing was a graphic and exhibit designer at the Boston Children’s Museum, and consultant to museums both nationally and internationally until 2003, when she left to devote herself full-time to making art. For many years, she had her studio at the Umbrella Center for the Arts in Concord.
The show is on view through November 9.
