UPDATE: The Massachusetts Cultural Council, and its local affiliate here in Bedford, have extended the deadline for the current grant cycle to November 1.

It’s time to apply for Bedford Cultural Council’s annual grants to support cultural programs—from lectures and workshops to multi-cultural festivals and theater, musical, and dance performances, science programs, and field trips for school groups. If you are not sure about your program idea or have other questions, email [email protected],

Applications for grants for programs that take place during an 18-month window of eligibility between July 1, 2021, through December 31, 2022, are due on or before October 15 at 11:59 pm.  Applications are welcome for projects that have already occurred or for new projects with the knowledge that funding is not guaranteed.

If you have submitted a grant application in previous years, please note that the Mass Cultural Council’s system has changed and you may need to reset your password.  The application is completely electronic, straightforward, and relatively easy to complete. The application is available at https://massculturalcouncil.smartsimple.com/s_Login.jsp. Don’t wait until the last minute in case you encounter any problems.
