We’re in the final stages of laying out the 2022 Bedford Guide, and we’re all really pleased with how it’s coming along. This past year was certainly a year of reawakening, with optimism tempered with a few setbacks.

THE BEDFORD GUIDE 2022 ~ A look back at 2021
2021 felt like a great awakening. After a year of both figuratively and sometimes literally hiding under the bed, our country and our community reemerged from under the covers.
Sticking with the sleep analogy, the awakening was a bit foggy at times. From masks to vaccines, to schools to restaurants, to football in the spring, there were a lot of unknowns and strange happenings.
People emerged a bit cautiously as to what our new world might bring. Yet spring brought great optimism that the worst was behind us; in spite of some setbacks, things seemed much brighter.
This year’s Bedford Guide tries to capture what we all went through this year. We also added a new feature, Citizens Among Us, to highlight those citizens who really gave back. We plan to make this an ongoing feature.
