According to MEMA, the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency, more than 450,000 individuals were left without power after Tuesday’s autumn nor’easter, but Bedford seems to have weathered the storm with minimal impact.
Closed Roads and Power Outages
Early Wednesday morning, the Bedford police reported road closures due to downed trees on Springs Road—between Gould Road and Ellingson Road—and South Road—between Hartwell Road and Evergreen Avenue.
Eversource reported scattered outages in residential areas, near Wiggins Avenue and on Crosby Drive.
Overnight Weather at LG Hanscom Field
In the early hours of October 27, the weathter station at LG Hanscom Field recorded winds gusting to 45 miles per hour.
Rain is expected to continue throughout the day with diminishing winds.
