The Bedford Boys Grade 3 Travel Basketball program, consisting of 16 boys, had the opportunity to play one another on Sunday. These Grade 3 boys play in the Metrowest Travel Basketball League. Their league consists of competition against mostly 4th Grade boys from the nearby area as well as a few other 3rd grade teams.
Sunday’s matchup was a fun opportunity for the two youngest travel teams to compete against one another for the first time this season.
At the half Bedford Gold (Blue Uniform) led by only 4 points with a score of 16 to 12 entering the third quarter. The Gold held onto their lead and pulled out the win with a score of 35 to 26 over Bedford Black (White Uniform). Leading scorers for Bedford Gold were Charlie B. with 14 points, Matthew W. with 10 points and EJ K. with 5 points. Leading scorers for Bedford Black were Jacob L. with 8 points, Ben G. with 7 points, and Luke F. with 5 points.
