We feel compelled to thank so many individuals who helped facilitate a successful outcome of a bad situation when our truck rolled over on Hartwell Road in Bedford on Tuesday, February 8th. Everyone and I mean everyone from the DPW employee who happened to be right there and checked on our driver and called in the incident to The Bedford and Concord Police and Fire departments. Hanscom Air Base backup and a dozen power company vehicles who made the downed wires safe and brought power back quickly.
Energi Insurance was on the site within 30 minutes and particularly we would like to thank the DEP and State Police Commercial Vehicle Team for kindly, professionally, and concisely walking me thru the process. There were many uniforms on site but not one chip on any shoulder.
As I was leaving the scene I passed a cruiser with the familiar slogan “To Protect and Serve” in white letters on the front quarter panel of his or her vehicle. Damn Straight! Forever in Your Debt!
