StretchMed Studios Comes to Bedford at Club 600

February 2, 2022

Another new business comes to Bedford.  StretchMed Studios has opened a site within the building of Club 600 (formerly Summit Fitness) on Wiggins Avenue.

Since buying Club 600 in January 2020 the owners, Bedford residents Jane and Denis Mezheritskiy,  have been steadily adding more offerings to the club.   Adding a StretchMed Studio to the club is just the latest addition.

Last year the club added CrossFit and a bunch of new class offerings, from Boot Camp to Barre Dance to Yoga,  to their already  extensive class offerings.   Their current schedule features 38 weekly offerings.

Jane said about StretchMed  “It has really been a great addition to the club and complements services that we currently offer.  StretchMed is a one on one stretching studio that utilizes certified stretch therapists to perform PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation ) stretching to the clients in either 25 or 50 minutes stretch sessions.  We have tried to implement different ideas for that room and adding StretchMed has been a great addition.”

Here’s what Sandy Morvillo says about StretchMed “ it’s a safe, non- invasive assisted stretching regime. It’s great for anyone that maybe doesn’t like massage because you still get the benefit of loosening and lengthening your muscles but with minimal touch. You are also fully clothed. “
