I am writing today in support of Emily Mitchell for Select Board. I have had the honor and privilege of knowing and working with Emily for several years in a wide variety of roles, first as a member of the Bedford Center for the Arts board, then as a Trustee, and now as a Select Board member.
On top of those contributions, Emily has worked on musical performances at the high school and middle school and has been a part of Bedford Patrons of Music Students (POMS). She is an energetic and dedicated citizen.
Emily is a committed and conscientious member of our town government, and I am proud to call her a friend. Emily is thoughtful, prepared, and takes her civic duties very much to heart. Her tireless energy has benefited the Town in more ways than I can count. Even on those occasions where Emily and I have disagreed, I have always found her respectful and thoughtful.
