Practicalities: Traffic and Parking for Bedford’s Pole Capping Ceremonies on Saturday, April 9

Bedford’s Pole Capping exercise will take place on Saturday, April 11, with a parade of regional Minuteman Companies gathering on Bedford Common and stepping off at 10:30 am for their now-traditional march to Willson Park.

According to the Town, “for the safety of the public, The Great Road will be closed to traffic between Willson Park and Springs/South Road from approximately 10:20 a.m. until Noon. Traffic will be detoured around the event.”

Parking on The Great Road is prohibited along the same stretch of roadway from 1 a.m. until noon on Saturday, and vehicles parked there during the ban may be towed.
