Eileen O’Neill Swider passed away on March 25, 2022. Mrs. Swider ran her busy household with a steady, kind hand – always emphasizing the wonder and importance of education and of the natural world. She became an avid tennis player, competing on teams throughout suburban Boston, and traveled extensively. Fiercely proud of her family and their achievements, shepreferred to talk about world politics and the latest book she was reading. She enjoyed wonderful relationships with many long-time friends and neighbors from her time living in Bedford.
A celebration of Mrs. Swider’s life will take place at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 The Great Road, from 4 to 6 pm on Thursday, May 12, 2022, with a small burial service at Shawsheen Cemetery on May 13.
