The Bedford Health Department is hosting two COVID-19 booster clinics at the Town Center Building (yellow building behind Town Hall), 12 Mudge Way in the Council on Aging (back entrance). Moderna and Pfizer vaccine boosters will be offered and the clinics are open to residents age 12 and older, who meet eligibility criteria, on the following dates:
- Monday, May 9, 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm
- Monday, May 16, 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm

Eligibility Criteria
1st Booster:
- If you’re 18+ and it’s been at least 5 months since your 2nd primary series dose of Pfizer or Moderna, you can receive your 1st Pfizer or Moderna booster.
- If you’re 18+ and it’s been at least 2 months since your single primary dose of Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine, you can receive your 1st Pfizer or Moderna booster.
- If you’re age 12-17 and it’s been at least 5 months since your 2nd primary dose of Pfizer, you can receive your 1st booster of Pfizer.
2nd Booster
- If you’re age 12+, moderately or severely immunocompromised, and it’s been 3 months since your 1st booster, you can receive a 2nd booster (NOTE: those age 12-17 are only eligible for Pfizer).
- If you’re at least age 50, not immunocompromised, and it’s been at least 4 months since your 1st Pfizer or Moderna booster, you can receive a 2nd Pfizer or Moderna booster.
- If you’re not-immunocompromised, received Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine as your primary vaccination and 1st booster, and it’s been at least 4 months since your 1st Jansen booster, you can receive a 2nd booster of Pfizer or Moderna.
It is very important to speak with your primary care provider to determine eligibility for booster vaccines and to discuss recommended vaccine series if you are moderately or severely immunocompromised.
