Left to right Bill Magee, Adrienne St. John, Jim Maille, Jim Cozzi, and Kenneth Pedersen. Between them they provided over 177 years of service to the Town of Bedford through the Public Works department between 1952 and 2021.

The Department of Public Works hosted a barbeque and a brief plaque ceremony honoring longtime past employees on Friday, April 30.  The alumni who came for the event included Ken Pedersen,  Jim Cozzi, Adrienne St. John, Jim Maille, and Bill Magee.

The ceremony and plaque honor retired employees who have worked at the Bedford DPW for over 20 years.  There are 24 names on the plaque with 10 people who had worked for the DPW for over 35 years. Doug Park and Bette Annese spearheaded the event.

The plaque will hang in the lobby of the Department of Public Works.
