Hard·ship /ˈhärdˌSHip/ “severe suffering or privation” A recent CBS Poll says that in the country 66% of the respondents say that our current inflation is causing difficulties or hardship.

Difficulties and hardships are not defined, and what defines a hardship is a personal decision.

I would think eating hamburgers instead of steak would not be considered a hardship, but others might. CBSNews asks another question about how your spending habits have changed with our current level of inflation.
