A Search is Underway for The Bedford Citizen’s New Managing Editor

~ By Ginni Spencer, Co-President

The position of Managing Editor of The Bedford Citizen will be opening up over the next few months as long-time editor Julie Turner prepares to step away from the post she has held for the past 10 years. The responsibilities of the position are varied as befits a small but thriving local news organization.

Broadly speaking, The Citizen is seeking a candidate with five years of journalism experience who has managed or assisted with the management of a newspaper or publication focused on town government reporting.

Our mission is the provision of free, reliable news which informs and engages readers in all aspects of the Bedford community.
