Bedford’s Colonial farm museum, the Job Lane House, will host a Family Field Day from noon until 3 pm on Sunday, August 14.
Family Field Day will feature Children Activities instructor Kate Reynolds who will organize 18th-century kids games.
Bedford’s Chip-In Farm will set up a petting zoo.
Kate Dobbins will provide music.
And the farmhouse will be open for self-guided tours.
There will be multiple Colonial craft demonstrations including Karen Ziino who makes Nantucket baskets, and 18th Century Watercolor artist Audrey Jones Childs.
Also, watch for the Billerica Colonial Minute Men’s open fire cooking demonstration, candle dipping, broom making, and ice cream making.
Speaking of ice cream, Bedford Farms ice cream will be available on site.

The Job Lane Farm Museum is located at 295 North Road, in Bedford, and is owned by the Town of Bedford. The museum is normally open on the second and fourth Sundays, May through October.
