Maggie’s Other Farm Opening October 25

A new restaurant is coming to town.  Maggie’s Other Farm will be opening Tuesday, October 25 at their newest location 15 Middlesex Turnpike, in the old Naked Fish space.

Maggie’s Other Farm is the ninth restaurant in the Serenitee Restaurant Group.   They are concentrated mostly on the North Shore.

Here’s how they describe themselves on their website:

“Maggie’s Other Farm is designed to be a gathering place for the community, featuring a scratch kitchen and menu filled with everything you are craving, from tavern favorites to BBQ and sushi. With weekly promotions like kids-eat-free Sundays, Maggie’s Other Farm is the perfect spot for after work drinks, dinner with the family, and everything in between.”

I talked with Samantha Porter, head of marketing for the Serenitee Restaurant Group.  She said they are very excited about the opening here. She went on to say one thing really different about the Serenitee group is they really seek input from the community.  “Each restaurant is a little different, depending on what each community wants to see, the menu is very eclectic.”  They did surveying and focus groups within the community to get a feeling as to what people would like to see.  “The goal is to be the local meeting place, and the menu and amenities will adapt as to what the community wants to see,” she continued.

They have plans for the future to bring music, possibly trivia nights.  They also have “Community give back nights” where they share a percentage of the evening’s receipts.  They have a “Kids eat Free” on Sundays.  I also asked about hosting events,    “We have a large space and we plan on hosting events as they come up.”   Porter mentioned their rewards program. “New Serenitee Rewards Members will receive a FREE appetizer instantly just for signing up!”

Looking at the reviews on Google for the other Maggie’s Farm restaurants it seems that it will be a nice addition.
