If you’re a person who watches “The Wizard of Oz” at least once every year, you will want to make your own “Journey to Oz” at First Parish, Bedford, on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 3 p.m.
Local performers Brad Conner and Ben Sears are joining a cast of Boston area musical theater singers to bring a lineup of favorites from the Oz canon, including “Over the Rainbow” and songs from “The Wiz” and “Wicked.” Steve Sussman, pianist, is the accompanist with JoAnne Dickinson as the storyteller. Others in the cast include Teresa Winner Blume, Christina English, Carolyn Saxon, Sherée Dunwell, Davron Monroe, and Kaedon Gray, several of whom have performed at other First Parish musical events.
