BCA Photo Group Exhibit: What Catches the Eye

The Bedford Free Public Library will host an exhibit of the work of 25 members of the Bedford Center for the Arts Photo Group.  The exhibit, juried by photography educator and curator Erin Carey and entitled What Catches the Eye, showcases the range of photographic styles represented in the Group.  The show will open on Friday, November 12 and close on Wednesday, January 12.  Plan to stop by the Library to check out the exhibit.  A reception will be held at the Library on December 5, 5-6 pm, when  Erin will be present to talk briefly about the exhibit. Town of Bedford Food Bank Service

The Town of Bedford operates a drive thru Food Bank service every Thursday, 4:00PM to 5:30PM at 12 Mudge Way, the Yellow Building (rear parking lot).  In addition to pantry staples, we provide produce, meat, dairy products as well as feminine care, diapers, household items and pet food. The Bedford Food Bank service is intended for Bedford residents of all ages for whom provision of food and other supplies will support the health and well-being of the household. The making of pies near this time of year is daunting for some, and a great pleasure for others.  Make most tender and flaky crust to take home for a Pumpkin or Pecan pie.  Then, make another double crust and the famous Apple pie.  You will take home the pie to freeze and bake later as well as the crust for another single crust pie.  Bring a peeler and a knife to slice apples, a rolling pin and an apron.
