BCA Photo Group Exhibit: What Catches the Eye

The Bedford Free Public Library will host an exhibit of the work of 25 members of the Bedford Center for the Arts Photo Group.  The exhibit, juried by photography educator and curator Erin Carey and entitled What Catches the Eye, showcases the range of photographic styles represented in the Group.  The show will open on Friday, November 12 and close on Wednesday, January 12.  Plan to stop by the Library to check out the exhibit.  A reception will be held at the Library on December 5, 5-6 pm, when  Erin will be present to talk briefly about the exhibit. Fundraiser for Resettled Afghans


Please join our online fundraiser to purchase some beautiful Cambodian merchandise while helping Afghan refugees! The International Institute of New England (IINE) is resettling over four hundred Afghan evacuees in the Lowell, Greater Boston, and Manchester, NH areas. As former refugees, Bopha Malone and Sophy Theam are hosting a fundraiser for the IINE to cover expenses that will not be subsidized by the U.S. government. Covid-19 Vaccine Clinic For Bedford Residents Ages 5-11 ~ November 20, 2021

The Bedford Health Department is pleased to announce a FREE COVID-19 vaccination clinic for Bedford residents ages 5 – 11 years old on Saturday, November 20, 2021. Following FDA approval last week, on November 2, 2021, the CDC endorsed administration of the Pfizer-BioNTech pediatric vaccine to this age group. The November 20th clinic will be a first dose clinic for 5-11 year-olds and attendance is by appointment only. The Health Department has received 300 doses to administer.
