Bedford Free Public Library 7 Mudge Way, Bedford, MA

Connecting Threads, an exhibition with works by textile artist Joetta Maue and photographer Becky Behar will be on display at the Bedford Free Public Library from March 14 to May 11, 2022. The exhibition explores connections we make throughout our lives, the threads we spin and bonds we create, starting in the nuclei of our families. Joetta Maue’s embroidered fabrics and Becky Behar’s photographs use the element of stitching to construct a visual story of their lives. Their work acts as a document of lives lived and relationships felt. A reception for the artists will be on Sunday, April 10,

First Church Bedford to Host Two-Day Rummage Sale Apr 29 & 30

First Church of Christ Congregational 25 Great Road, Bedford

Bedford’s First Congregational Church, 25 Great Road, will host its Spring Rummage Sale on two days this year: 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, April 29; and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30. Admission is free and a $1 donation at the door will benefit the Bedford Food Bank. This year’s Rummage Sale will feature a wide variety of white elephants, books, puzzles, household goods and small appliances, sports equipment, children’s toys and games, and costume jewelry.
