The beloved Black Box series returns with a lineup of works from FBP’s own choreographers. In honor of the company’s 45th Season, we’re turning the clock back to 1978, the year FBP was founded. Creating pieces with themes connected to ‘78, selected FBP Company Dancers will take on the role of choreographer, looking back four decades with their inspiration while looking forward in their movement. New works celebrating 45 years of making dance in Rhode Island, your ticket to time travel is right in the black box.

Flash Photography with Bobbi Lane


On January 24, 2023 at 7 pm the Bedford Center for the Arts Photo Group will welcome Bobbi Lane, a Fujifilm “X” Photographer, for a virtual presentation on Flash Photography.  Bobbi is an award-winning commercial photographer specializing in creative portraits on location and in the studio. Bobbi Lane's multi-faceted approach to photography incorporates over 40 years of technical experience with innovative artistic interpretation. Her corporate and editorial work includes corporate websites, annual reports and hundreds of environmental portraits for a wide variety of magazines. As a dedicated photoeducator, Bobbi brings insight and enthusiasm to her students in workshops held worldwide. She
