This show, juried by Jessica Straus, examines our relationships with familiar, unfamiliar and defamiliarized objects. Sometimes we find things we never knew we lost. They have been hidden away in our attics or our drawers. Other things we discover in the dailiness of our lives. We find meaning and even healing in found objects and pieces from the past. Meanings are created somewhere between claiming and severing relationships with objects, between reviving and recasting their history. Full Moon Lantern Celebration

Join The Umbrella Arts Center and The Old Manse under the light of the full moon on December 7. 34th Annual Tree of Lights – Auxiliary of Emerson Health

Over thirty years ago, The Auxiliary of Emerson Health began lighting the evergreen tree outside the main entrance in honor and memory of loved ones and significant people who have touched our lives. Town of Bedford Food Bank Service

The Town of Bedford operates a drive thru Food Bank service every Thursday, 4:00PM to 5:30PM at 12 Mudge Way, the Yellow Building (rear parking lot).  In addition to pantry staples, we provide produce, meat, dairy products as well as feminine care, diapers, household items and pet food. The Bedford Food Bank service is intended for Bedford residents of all ages for whom provision of food and other supplies will support the health and well-being of the household. Bedford Fire Annual Toy Collection

Bedford Fire Department is holding it's Annual Toy Collection on December 10 and December 17 from 10am - 2pm in the rear parking lot of Bedford High School (the lot adjacent to Liljegren Way). They are collecting new unwrapped toys for children, as well as non perishable food items (for Middlesex Community College Food Bank) and coats (donated to the John Dodge Coat Drive on behalf of St. Frances House). Come on buy and support our neighbors who could use a hand this holiday season.

Concord Chorus – Winter Holiday Concerts

Middlesex School’s Memorial Chapel 1400 Lowell Road, Concord

The Concord Chorus, conducted by Dr. Kevin Leong, is pleased to present its annual Winter Holiday Concerts on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 2:00 and 5:00 PM at the Middlesex School’s Memorial Chapel, 1400 Lowell Road, Concord, Massachusetts. Please join us to celebrate the return of our holiday concerts with a heavenly selection of music and carols, including a piece by Ukrainian composer Dmytro Bortniansky and works by Palestrina, Brahms, Howells, Rutter, and Copland. The concert also features Assistant Conductor and pianist John Sullivan and organist Jonathan Wessler. Tickets are $30 (general admission), $25 (65+), and $10 (children and students).
