Connecting Threads, an exhibition with works by textile artist Joetta Maue and photographer Becky Behar will be on display at the Bedford Free Public Library from March 14 to May 11, 2022. The exhibition explores connections we make throughout our lives, the threads we spin and bonds we create, starting in the nuclei of our families. Joetta Maue’s embroidered fabrics and Becky Behar’s photographs use the element of stitching to construct a visual story of their lives. Their work acts as a document of lives lived and relationships felt. A reception for the artists will be on Sunday, April 10,


Job Lane Farm Museum Tours

Job Lane Farm Museum 295 North Road, Bedford

The Job Lane Farm Museum is located at 295 North Road, in Bedford, and is owned by the Town of Bedford. The museum is open the second and fourth Sundays, May thru October from 2 pm to 4 pm. Free admission for members, otherwise $4 donation, $10 for family.    On May 22, Elizabeth Skipper, 18th Century Spinning Interpreter and Susan Luongo are the demonstrators. The Town of Bedford operates a drive thru Food Bank service every Thursday, 4:00PM to 5:30PM at 12 Mudge Way, the Yellow Building (rear parking lot).  In addition to pantry staples, we provide produce, meat, dairy products as well as feminine care, diapers, household items and pet food. The Bedford Food Bank service is intended for Bedford residents of all ages for whom provision of food and other supplies will support the health and well-being of the household. BHS Spring Vocal Concert

The Bedford High School Performing Arts Department will present its annual Spring Vocal Concert on Thursday, May 12, at 7:00pm in the BHS Auditorium. The Concert Choir, Honors Choir, and student a cappella groups will perform. POMS will be on hand to recognize our graduating seniors, with the presentation of POMS scholarships and a reception with cake in the lobby after the concert. Join us for a summer of music by The Beatles! Rock Voices is a non-audition choir (18+) and is open to all. The Bedford Rock Voices choir rehearses on Thursday nights, 7-9pm at the American Legion (357 Great Road, Bedford, MA) and the first rehearsal is Thursday, May 12. You don't have to be a "singer" to join this choir. You just have to love rock and pop music. This summer we're paying tribute to The Beatles. Our fall season will feature completely different music. Zero Waste – Mothers Out Front Chapter Meeting


Join us for our May Chapter Meeting where our guest speaker will be Deane Coady from Brookline Mothers Out Front. Deane will present several successful waste reduction measures that Brookline is adopting, working in conjunction with DPW and their local school and food businesses in town.
