Join us for our 1-Night  Self-Defense & Physical Empowerment Workshop For Women Ages 14+ Tuesday, June 7th 7:00pm - 8:30pm at Callahan’s Karate Led by Winnie Callahan, Co-Owner of Callahan’s Karate and Jennifer Buckley, Founder of GrooveWrx, this interactive class addresses the challenges women face regarding personal safety and physical confidence.  In a fun and supportive environment we will demonstrate and practice simple, yet effective self-defense techniques and review other tips for safety and building confidence.  We share a lot of important information in just one night! This is a community event offered at no cost.

Audrey Jones Childs will demonstrate 18th-century watercolor painting using period-appropriate watercolor paints and brushes. Watch Audrey paint and learn how the brushes and paints were made. St. Paul’s Annual Thrift Sale Is Back! St. Paul’s Episcopal Church will host its annual Thrift Sale on Saturday. June 18, from 9:00am to 2:00pm in the Parish Hall. The Thrift Sale will feature new or gently used clothing, kitchenware, books/DVDs/CDs/puzzles, games & toys, and sporting goods. Donations of the above will be collected in the parish hall during the drop-off period from June 12th – 17th (full drop-off schedule below).
