The Bedford Historical Society is holding its Annual Meeting on Sunday, May 22nd at 2:00 PM at the Old Town Hall in the Great Room located on the 3rd floor. The Annual Meeting will include the election of Officers and Directors by members. Following the meeting, the society will present the program "The Society's Collections Years Ago in the Former Museum" narrated by Mary Hafer.

On Tuesday, May 24 at 7 pm the Bedford Center for the Arts Photo Group is pleased to present internationally acclaimed portrait photographer Maundy Mitchell; her topic will be Good Portraits:  Connection and the Myth of the Photogenic.  How can you create portraits that invite the viewer to take a closer look?  There are many elements that create the invitation:  lighting, body language, and composition, for starters.  Perhaps the most elusive is connection, especially for those who believe in the myth of being “photogenic.”  In this talk, Maundy discusses connection in portraiture, how other elements in the portrait contribute to

Senior parents: this is prom night! After your kids Stroll on Jenks Trail and get on the bus to the country club, swing by for a pizza and enjoy a night off.

The Lane School Performing Arts Department will present its annual Spring Concert on Thursday, May 26, at 7:00pm in the BHS Auditorium. The band, orchestra, and 5th-grade chorus will perform. Admission is free, and all are welcome.
