Astrid Yerardi, a junior at Bedford High School, will attend the Congress of Future Medical Leaders conferences to be held in November and June of next year.
Yerardi dreams of becoming a nurse someday and plans to attend college to study nursing.
Gabriele and Angelo Colao will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on September 17.
The couple has lived in Bedford for 53 years and they proclaim, “We love this town!”

Local resident Michael McAllister has been named as the new Director of Human Capital for Belmont Public Schools. He is currently serving as the principal of the Chenery Middle School in Belmont. In an interview McAllister had with the Belmontonian he reflected on his 20 years in the Belmont schools as well as the opportunities to learn and grow in this new position.
