Residents are invited to attend the Town Hall Open House from 4 to 7 pm on Monday to meet various board and committee representatives, and visit the town offices. The Open House marks the start of new hours at Town Hall. Offices in the building will be open until 7 pm on Monday evenings, and close at 1 pm on Friday afternoons.

Believe it or not, Bedford’s financial boards are looking forward to the FY20 budgets that will eventually be presented at Annual Town Meeting in March 2019!

Town Government at Work for the Week Beginning September 4, 2018: Vote in the State Primary, School Starts, and Town Government Kicks into Gear

The Massachusetts primary kicks off the week of September 4 with registered voters making their way to the John Glenn Middle School between 7 am and 8 pm to cast their ballots at the same time students return for the first day of school.

Early that evening the Selectmen and Historic District Commission members will meet in Executive Sessions at 6:45 pm to decide on a response, if any, to a court ruling supporting the right of the of First Parish Church to install solar panels on the roof. At 9 pm the Selectmen will open another Executive Session to consider a strategy for a potential real property acquisition.
