Easter Dawn service at Fawn Lake
April 4 @ 6:30 am - 10:00 am
The 70th annual Easter Dawn Service, an ecumenical, lay-led worship service, will be held on Sunday, April 4, between 6:30am and 10:00am. Individuals and households are invited to come to the shores of Fawn Lake, at the end of Sweetwater Avenue, at their own time and pace on Easter Sunday for private meditation, prayer, and worship.
The planning committee has prepared a bulletin with readings, Scripture, prayers, and a link to musical selections for worshippers to read and listen to. Hard copies of the bulletin will be available at Fawn Lake on Easter morning. The bulletin will also be hosted on the website of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, https://www.stpaulsbedford.org/easter-dawn-service-2021/.
To access the musical selections, worshippers can either scan the QR code in the paper bulletin, or type in the URL above in their smartphone browser (short version: https://tinyurl.com/wtwdkyry).
Individuals and household groups will be expected to wear masks and maintain appropriate physical distance from other groups while at Fawn Lake. We also request the use of headphones to listen to the musical selections. As the grass on the hillside may not be fully recovered after last year’s dredging project, we recommend appropriate footwear as well.
