Three Printmakers, Three Friends: A Journey in Art and Friendship

Anita Feld, Maria Green, and Doris Smith have made art prints together for several years. They have studied printmaking at the DeCordova Museum, Middlesex Community College, and at the Maud Morgan Center for the Arts as well as taking other printmaking workshops in the area.

Call For Artists’ Entries: Bedford Free Public Library’s 2019–2020 Biennial Community Art Show

The Library’s Biennial is a juried exhibit of art by people who live or work in the Bedford area. Art and craft in all media are eligible. The show will be on display from Monday, November 18, 2019, to Wednesday, January 8, 2020. A reception honoring the artists will take place from 5 to 6 pm on Saturday, November 23.

The Friends of the Bedford Library are holding a three day Fall Book Sale. The Book Sale is held rain or shine at the library located at 7 Mudge Way in Bedford, MA. Thanks to the huge quantity of quality book donations, there will be thousands of books offered in three different rooms, all well organized. Books include fiction such as romance, thrillers, science fiction, poetry, plays and classics plus DVDs and music CDs; children’s books; books for young adults; non-fiction books including art, cookbooks, foreign languages, business, history, science, textbooks, and much more. Proceeds from book sales help underwrite library programs and services, including lecture and film series, additions to the library collection, and museum passes.

“Impressions of Nature”, a two person show with monoprints by Lonnie Harvey and photographs by Amy Rindskopf, is on display at the Bedford Free Public Library from January 10 to March 13, 2019. A reception for the artists will be on Sunday, January, 13, 5-6 PM. Free and open to the public.
