On Sunday, May 20, at noon there will be a Family Outing Hike on the BCT section in Bedford, starting at the town common by the flag pole. The hike will follow the BCT on the Minuteman Bike Path Extension and continue on the Reformatory Branch Trail extending into Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge, where the group will explore together some trails before returning back to the town common. When it comes to connecting two points that separate the Minuteman Commuter Bikeway and the Reformatory Branch Trail, there appears to be no straight line.
