CoA - Bedford Council on Aging 12 Mudge Way, Bedford, MA, United States

A series of bicycle rides for active seniors. All rides will start in front of the Council on Aging (COA) at 10AM. Rides are 16-18 miles long. You should be able to maintain an average pace (including hills) of at least 10mph, and have a multi-speed bike in good condition. We'll try to stay mostly on back roads, but we will spend some time on busy roads, so you should be comfortable riding with traffic. After the ride, we'll have coffee and snacks at the COA. Come to the Council on Aging LGBTQIA+ and Friends Lunch and Concert Feb 17, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, to hear the sweet sounds of the Kinsey Scales! The Kinsey Scales are Boston’s premier LGBTQIA+ a cappella group. Founded in 2017, they are oriented towards providing a supportive community and a safer space for the performance of a cappella music within diverse gender and sexuality communities. Along with Right at Home, Bedford enjoy free breakfast at the Memory Café. Come for the breakfast, stay for the entertainment. All are welcome. Our memory cafe is a safe place where caregivers and loved ones with memory loss can socialize, listen to music, play games and share meaningful activities, education and resources. The Friends of the Bedford Council on Aging (FBCOA) board meeting schedule is the 3rd Tuesday of the months September, October, November, January, April, and June at 1 PM. These meetings are open to the public and you are encouraged to come.  Your input is valued and welcomed.  The next meeting is Tuesday Nov. 21. These meetings are held at the Bedford COA, in the lower level of the yellow Town Center Building on Mudge Way (park in the back next to the skate park) The Friends of the Bedford Council on Aging (FBCOA) is a private, nonprofit 501c3 organization

Learn about the environmental cost of private jet travel and why Mothers Out Front thinks it important to Stop Private Jet Expansion at Hanscom or Anywhere. The Council on Aging (COA) is located in the Town Center building, 12 Mudge Way, Bedford (enter on side of building w/big parking lot, not the side w/circular drive).
